ADRIANNE CURY is thrilled to have returned to the stage after several years of focusing primarily on teaching, coaching, & directing. Just prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, she played Sharon in The Roommate for Cardinal Stage in Indiana, and Gertrude in Chicago Shakespeare Project's Hamlet. She teaches at Acting Studio Chicago, and has formerly taught in DePaul TTS, conducted workshops for North Central College, Triton, The Performer’s School, and spent several summers teaching teens on an island in Canada. in Ghosts in Konya,Turkey on a MacArthur Grant). Regionally, she’s worked with New American, Artists Ensemble, BoarsHead, The Human Race, and Indiana Rep. Directing Credits: The Taming of the
Shrew (Oak Park Festival); Scoundrel Time and The Thin Man (City Lit); Ravenscroft and Cyclist Attacked by Mountain Lion (Triton College); Sense and Sensibility and Mauritius (Theatre of Western Springs). She’s a long-time member of Actors Equity & SAG.
