MARILYN SUNDIN
Marilyn Sundin earned a mid-life MFA degree in Theatre from The Ohio State University in 1979, and then spent almost four decades as the Artistic Administrative Assistant for the Department of Theatre at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Most of her acting and directing has been in community theatre with Licking County Players and Weathervane (summer) Playhouse in Newark, Ohio. She has appeared in almost 100 plays and directed almost 40. She also appeared at CATCO in Columbus, Otterbein College Summer Theatre, and Timber Lake Playhouse in Illinois. She authored and directed Pinocchio's Adventures for LCP and TLP. Favorite roles were Ethel P. Savage, Fraulein Schneider, Madame Armfeldt and Desiree Armfeldt (25 years apart), Katisha, Amanda Wingfield, Berthe in Pippin, Veta Louise in Harvey, and Susan B. Anthony in This One thing I Do. Favorite directing gigs were Annie, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, The Foreigner, and Little Women. |
